HSE Manager

Location: Hybrid role based at Airama House, Wheatfield Way, Hinckley, Leicestershire, United Kingdom, with approximately 60% travel across the UK and Europe

What you will do

• Lead HSE activities across UK and Ireland construction, service, maintenance, and office operations.
• Develop and improve HSE plans, procedures, risk assessments, and compliance programs.
• Conduct site audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Implement corrective actions and provide performance reporting and improvement recommendations.
• Deliver HSE training, emergency preparedness exercises, and safety communications.
• Act as the HSE focal point for employees, managers, clients, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Safety Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Recognised Occupational Health & Safety certification.
• At least 5 years of HSE leadership experience in construction, industrial service, maintenance, energy, or large-scale project environments.
• Strong knowledge of HSE management systems and standards, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, SCC, and relevant UK HSE regulations.
• Strong communication, leadership, training, and stakeholder management skills with a practical, solution-focused approach.
• Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 60%, across the UK and Europe.
