Clinical Quality Program Manager (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, United States only

Base pay: $100,000–$115,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Co-lead the Quality and Safety Committee, prepare meetings, assign owners, and track follow-through.
• Lead clinical readiness for Joint Commission accreditation, including policy development, mock audits, corrective actions, and survey-day support.
• Translate accreditation standards into practical guidance for clinical managers and care teams.
• Conduct structured audits of documentation, clinical reasoning, protocol adherence, and member interactions.
• Prepare findings, identify recurring systemic gaps, and recommend improvements across policy, tooling, training, and processes.
• Maintain current knowledge of regulatory, licensing, and accreditation requirements.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States for this full-time remote role.
• 3+ years of experience in clinical quality, compliance, or auditing, including clinical audits, quality program management, or accreditation and regulatory survey preparation.
• An active, unrestricted clinical license in good standing, such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, RN, or licensed psychologist.
• Familiarity with substance use disorder, mental health, or behavioral health care.
• Strong written communication, organization, accountability, independent execution, and comfort with ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Joint Commission standards, accreditation surveys, or healthcare regulatory compliance.
• Experience with telehealth, distributed care teams, or virtual clinical programs.
• Experience using AI tools to improve clinical documentation, auditing, or quality workflows.
