Account Manager II - Specialized (Logistics)

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas 72201, United States; on-site in the office five days per week

What you will do

• Secure capacity for freight loads and monitor shipment status from tender through delivery.
• Contact carriers, shippers, and receivers regarding shipment updates, scheduling changes, detention information, and operational inquiries.
• Set up new shipper, receiver, and vendor locations, including vendor profiles and codes.
• Maintain customer rates and fuel surcharges in the Transportation Management System.
• Issue ComChecks within established guidelines and manage accounts receivable.
• Build effective relationships with carriers, shippers, and receivers through professional and timely communication.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–3 years of professional experience.
• Must be open to working in the office five days per week.
• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to monitor freight shipments, update systems, and coordinate changes with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace or Microsoft Suite.

Nice to have

• Completed college degree.
• Transportation or logistics experience.
