Logistics & Dispatch Manager (AI Robotics)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; the role involves physical logistics between headquarters, warehouses, active data collection locations, and customer sites.

Salary: $150,000–$225,000 per year base salary.

What you will do

• Build and lead the field logistics and dispatch function from the ground up.
• Design SOPs, processes, and checklists for kitting, dispatch, delivery, and returns.
• Hire, manage, and develop coordinators and dispatchers as operational volume grows.
• Own the full equipment lifecycle, including requests, scheduling, delivery, tracking, returns, inspections, and damage logging.
• Establish real-time systems showing equipment location, quantity, and availability across active sites.
• Manage the internal vehicle fleet, develop supplemental transportation options, and lead field contingency response.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in logistics, dispatch, fleet operations, or field equipment coordination, including building or scaling a function.
• Experience hiring, managing, and developing a team.
• Experience owning physical equipment through dispatch, delivery, recovery, and return.
• Ability to build systems and processes in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with multiple teams and external partners.
• Proficiency with tracking systems, spreadsheets, and project management tools such as Google Sheets, Jira, Confluence, and inventory systems; valid driver's license required.
