Backend Developer (TypeScript)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; office-first with the option to work remotely one day per week

What you will do

• Build secure, scalable backend services and third-party integrations for financial products.
• Design and implement solutions with other engineers in line with the long-term architecture.
• Deploy, test, and monitor production code with logging, tracing, and system health dashboards.
• Implement AI frameworks and automated agents to support an agentic-first fintech platform.
• Reduce technical risk through compliant engineering practices and fast responses to security alerts and production incidents.

Requirements

• Several years of professional backend software engineering experience with TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of backend architecture, secure data transfer, and modern cloud environments.
• Practical experience with AI models, LLMs, or automated agentic workflows.
• Experience with AWS Serverless, Node.js, Grafana, and GitHub Actions is relevant to the technology stack.
• Ability to work from the Stockholm headquarters in an office-first setup.
