Senior Engineering Manager - Advisor Audit

What you will do

• Own team delivery outcomes, roadmaps, forecasting, and sustainable delivery practices.
• Build and develop a strong, motivated, and high-performing engineering team.
• Lead technical decisions across architecture, testing, observability, incident response, security, privacy, and data compliance.
• Establish team ways of working and collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering Managers, and the Domain Engineer.
• Deliver and evolve the global accounting kernel for 9+ European countries.
• Drive practical AI adoption and AI-native engineering practices across the team and wider R&D organisation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Engineering Management experience, ideally including a second Engineering Manager role.
• Strong technical background with full SDLC and DevOps experience, including testing, observability, incident response readiness, and security, privacy, and data compliance ownership.
• Production-proven experience with architecture, design, testing, and cloud infrastructure; AWS is preferred.
• Strong delivery and people leadership experience, including roadmap ownership, forecasting, career development, performance conversations, and structured 1:1s.
• Experience with Agile ways of working, such as Kanban, and the ability to work effectively with ambiguity and change.
• Proven use of AI in software engineering or R&D beyond experimentation, plus discovery experience with Product and Design.

Nice to have

• Experience with TDD or BDD.
• Accounting or fintech background.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, or Node.js is not mandatory.
