What you will do
- Build, mentor, retain, and develop a healthy, high-performing engineering team.
- Own predictable, high-quality delivery while maintaining a sustainable pace.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Tech Leads, and Staff+ Engineers on roadmaps and long-term technical strategy.
- Maintain engineering standards, operational readiness, and a blameless incident culture.
- Develop and refine an AI-driven software development pipeline and improve DORA engineering metrics.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, team composition, communication, and talent development while remaining hands-on.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in software engineering leadership.
- Strong technical foundation with backend experience in C#/.NET.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or a comparable provider.
- Experience with distributed systems, DevOps practices, Terraform, and Docker.
- Passion and experience in AI-driven software development lifecycles.
- A pragmatic, ownership-driven mindset focused on healthy teams and long-term quality.
Nice to have
- Experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka.
