What you will do

• Define business measures, data grain, dimensions, and trusted data definitions with stakeholders across the organization.
• Make final decisions on contested definitions and escalate disputes with significant financial, operational, or regulatory consequences.
• Build stakeholder relationships to understand business operations and translate them into data definitions and governance requirements.
• Independently certify definitions as trustworthy, using technical validation from the Data Foundation product team when needed.
• Use Claude and Claude Code to prototype definitions, explore data, and create concrete specifications for engineering.
• Review sensitive-data classifications and hand delivery requests to the Delivery team once they move from defining meaning to building solutions.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience translating business operations into data definitions, requirements, or governance.
• Experience maintaining a position with senior stakeholders during substantive disagreements.
• Technical grounding in data grain, certification decisions, basic SQL, and data engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on ability to use Claude and Claude Code for prototyping and data exploration.
• Fluency in restaurant, franchise, and franchisee economics.
• Background in business analysis, data governance, analytics leadership, client success, or product success with strong data fluency.
