Manager, New Verticals- Retail Strategy & Operations (Retail)

Location: New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; or Chicago, IL, US

Salary: $136,000–$200,000 USD annual base salary, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Own planning, operating cadence, and business economics for the Retail business.
• Define key metrics, run weekly business reviews, and translate quarterly plans into focused growth and profitability initiatives.
• Set consumer pricing and structure merchant economics in partnership with Platform and commercial teams.
• Develop pricing strategies and experiments that produce measurable, actionable outcomes.
• Analyze customer affordability, margins, and trade-offs using financial models and data.
• Partner with Strategy & Operations, Finance, Product, Partnerships, and Platform teams to scale Retail.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in technology, e-commerce, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related field.
• Strong financial acumen and experience modeling business economics and trade-offs.
• Experience pulling data with SQL and building analytical tools and models.
• Ability to operate strategically and at a detailed execution level in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment.
• Experience owning outcomes, building from the ground up, and influencing cross-functional partners.
• Completed bachelor’s degree.
