Senior Business Analyst (AI/SQL)

Location: Remote within the United States; mandatory onsite Trailhead onboarding at headquarters once per quarter, with travel and accommodations covered.

Salary: $87,500–$111,500 per year, plus performance-based incentives and benefits.

What you will do

• Analyze HSA contribution balances, cash balances, and revenue trends to identify opportunities and headwinds.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries against large relational datasets.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports used by Product Managers and senior leadership.
• Use AI tools, preferably Claude or Claude Code, for query writing, data exploration, and explaining data issues.
• Partner with product decision support and data-focused colleagues, contributing to requirements and business process definition.
• Present data-driven findings and recommendations to product leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or a related field.
• Strong, demonstrated SQL expertise is required.
• Active daily use of AI tools for data work; experience with Claude is preferred.
• Ability to write clear requirements and translate business needs for engineering teams.
• Ability to present data-driven findings and recommendations to product leadership.
• Experience in fintech, HSA, HRA, FSA, or another regulated financial services environment is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks and Databricks Genie.
• Experience with AI assistants such as ChatGPT or Codex.
