Epic Revenue Cycle Project Manager (Healthcare IT)

Location: Carolinas Medical Center, 1000 Blythe Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00–17:00. The role requires travel, occasional evening or weekend work, and work in office and clinical environments. No relocation, visa sponsorship, or visa transfer is available now or in the future.

Pay range: $41.10–$61.65 per hour.

What you will do

• Manage healthcare information technology demands and projects from initiation through implementation, controlling scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality.
• Develop project charters, plans, milestones, estimates, requirements, documentation, status reports, and financial records.
• Identify, assess, mitigate, and track project risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, and dependencies.
• Coordinate IT owners, vendors, project teams, and stakeholders while establishing RACI matrices, escalation paths, and communication plans.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and production changes through established change-control processes.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions while improving project management methodologies and process assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of equivalent experience in information technology or a related field.
• Typically 3–6 years of information technology project management experience with a record of successful project delivery.
• Experience with project management methodologies, risk management, change management, and strategic portfolio management tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Strategic Portfolio Management tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams, influence without authority, and communicate complex concepts to stakeholders and executive leaders.
