Project Manager (Medical Equipment)

Location: Remote within the United States, based in or near Charleston, South Carolina, with overnight travel throughout the Southeast for up to 75% of the role. Must live within 35 miles of an airport. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Base salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year, plus an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Deliver construction and product implementation projects on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate site-readiness meetings, pre-installation planning, rough-in information, and third-party contractors.
• Manage integration of surgical and examination lights, equipment management systems, video integration, monitor mounts, and overhead patient lifts.
• Identify, communicate, and resolve customer and project issues that could affect delivery.
• Report the status of multiple projects to customer leadership, hirify.global senior management, and internal project teams.
• Apply change management, risk mitigation, project metrics, scope management, and closeout practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to manage multiple capital equipment or construction-related projects and anticipate potential setbacks.
• Willingness to travel overnight throughout the Southeast for up to 75% of the role.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable.
• Must live within 35 miles of an airport.

Nice to have

• Experience managing capital equipment projects.
• Understanding of construction and experience with medical equipment.
• PMP, PMI, IPMA, or equivalent project management certification.
