Location: On-site in the New York City or San Francisco office, United States

Base salary: $160,000–$215,000, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for Finance, HR, Legal, and Recruiting roles.
• Build scalable sourcing engines across outbound outreach, referrals, and talent communities.
• Partner with functional leaders on role scoping, leveling, hiring sequences, and talent strategy.
• Define scorecards, interview loops, service-level agreements, and recruiting processes from scratch.
• Create targeted outreach and a high-touch candidate experience.
• Track ATS hygiene, funnel conversion, time to fill, source yield, and channel return on investment.

Requirements

• Experience hiring Finance, HR, Legal, and Recruiting professionals at fast-growing startups, ideally in New York City.
• Experience managing the full recruiting cycle from job description writing through offer negotiation and signing.
• Strong sourcing skills, an established network, and persistence in building new talent pipelines.
• Data- and process-oriented approach to recruiting metrics and bottleneck resolution.
• High agency and strong persuasion skills, with the ability to establish processes and standards as the first recruiter in the role.
• Experience with AI-enabled recruiting tools and workflows for sourcing, outreach, and candidate evaluation.
