IT Support Associate (AI)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid in-office schedule with an in-person role based out of the midtown office

Salary: $95,000–$125,000 base salary annually, plus performance bonus

What you will do

• Provide hands-on desktop, deskside, hardware, and in-office technical support for the New York office.
• Analyze ticket trends, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions through documentation, configuration changes, automation, and process improvements.
• Administer Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, Intune device management, and Conditional Access.
• Own and improve employee onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning, access management, equipment deployment, recovery, and audit-ready documentation.
• Use Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar AI tools to automate support tasks, create documentation, and develop internal runbooks.
• Support conference room A/V and meeting technology while tracking issues and communicating impacts and resolution options.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or desktop support.
• Working familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Windows and/or macOS environments.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot to solve real problems.
• Systems-thinking experience, such as tracing recurring problems to their causes or building preventive solutions through scripts, home labs, or process improvements.
• Strong written communication, customer-service, judgment, and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Must be based in or able to reliably commute to New York, NY for the hybrid in-office schedule.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Intune, Entra ID, PowerShell, Python, Power Automate, workflow automation, or access-control fundamentals.
• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
