Senior Core Engineer (Go)

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel; hybrid office-first model with on-site work at least four days per week

What you will do

• Design, develop, and scale high-performance microservices and edge platform services, primarily in Go.
• Own systems spanning Nvidia Jetson/Orin edge hardware, custom Linux/Yocto builds, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Use AI development tools and agentic workflows for debugging, system analysis, and software quality.
• Improve reliability, memory usage, performance, and observability through metrics, structured logging, and real-time alerts.
• Lead architectural reviews, support unified migrations with US and international teams, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience building complex, high-scale backend or distributed systems.
• Production backend experience with Go, C++, Java, or a similar language.
• Experience diagnosing stability issues, memory and latency bottlenecks, and building telemetry with Prometheus, Fluent Bit, or similar tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, gRPC, and messaging technologies such as Kafka or MQTT.
• Ability to work in unfamiliar codebases and deliver production-ready solutions quickly, including with Cursor, Claude, Copilot, or similar AI tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Nvidia Jetson or Intel edge devices, Linux internals, Yocto, Ubuntu, or IoT environments.
• Experience with real-time video processing, RTSP/SRTP streams, or GStreamer.
• Familiarity with AI applications, RAG pipelines, vector databases such as USearch or Faiss, and agent protocols including MCP and A2A.
