Backend Engineer (OT Security)

What you will do

• Design and build software that communicates directly with enterprise network switches in production environments.
• Develop integrations for modern network management protocols and a broad range of vendors.
• Build cloud backend services that transform raw device data using Go, C#, gRPC, and PostgreSQL.
• Improve device management at scale through better abstractions, concurrency, reliability, and distributed-systems design.
• Ship production code that protects real OT infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one of Go, C#, Java, or C++.
• Knowledge of L2/L3 networking, VLANs, routing, TCP/IP, and ACLs.
• Hands-on experience automating network devices with technologies such as SSH/CLI, NETCONF, RESTCONF, SNMP, gNMI, Netmiko, or NAPALM.
• Ability to write concurrent code that remains reliable under unstable real-world network conditions.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple network vendors, including Cisco and Aruba.
• Cloud experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure, plus microservices and gRPC.
• Experience with flow-based telemetry protocols such as IPFIX, NetFlow, or sFlow.
