Candidate Experience Partner

Location: New York, New York, United States; hybrid with office attendance three days a week. Attendance at hiring events may be required.

Salary: $136K–$160K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own interview coordination and candidate experience for one hiring area.
• Schedule and manage interviews within agreed SLAs, flagging delays and risks before they become conflicts.
• Resolve complex candidate and interviewer escalations and implement fixes that prevent recurrence.
• Maintain guidelines and processes for virtual and in-person interviews, briefing interviewers on expectations.
• Configure jobs, interview plans, and forms in Ashby according to the hiring framework.
• Review candidate experience data, surveys, funnel metrics, and feedback to drive programmatic improvements and build scheduling automations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in recruiting coordination or recruiting operations, including independent multi-party scheduling.
• Experience using AI and automation tools to improve workflows, with sound judgment about when to verify their output.
• Experience managing complex stakeholders, handling last-minute changes, prioritizing multiple live roles, and resolving escalations.
• Working knowledge of structured hiring, compliance, and candidate data privacy.
• Clear, warm written communication and a professional in-person presence with candidates.
• Able to work from the New York office three days per week and attend hiring events when needed.
