Software Development Engineer I (Java/React/TypeScript)

Salary: $105,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications for the identity platform.
• Own projects end-to-end, from technical discovery and architecture through implementation, rollout, and operational support.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, Security, and Operations to turn business problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Improve system reliability, performance, testing, observability, developer experience, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, technical collaboration, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience building production applications.
• Experience with technologies such as Java, Python, React, and TypeScript.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern software architecture.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to own complex cross-functional projects, communicate technical concepts hirify.globally, and work effectively in ambiguous environments.
