Fullstack Developer (JavaScript)

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; onsite four days a week at the USPS customer site

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, and deploy applications and cloud-based platforms for complex analytical tasks using large datasets.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, end users, team leads, and team members to create, support, troubleshoot, and enhance products.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture and build responsive front-end applications.
• Develop effective APIs and integrate databases, web servers, message brokers, and WebSockets.
• Write technical documentation and support data governance strategy.
• Work within an Agile-based team environment.

Requirements

• Must work onsite four days per week in Arlington, Virginia.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident with Green Card status and complete a Public Trust background investigation.
• Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a relevant field, plus professional certification in web development or front-end/back-end disciplines.
• At least 5 years of fullstack development experience and at least 3 years of JavaScript development experience.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, or C#; front-end languages and libraries such as HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and jQuery; and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Node.
• Experience with backend frameworks, databases, API architectures, cloud deployment, version control, architectural patterns, and server management.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum.
• Knowledge of Databricks.
• Experience with UI/UX design.
