Full Stack Developer (Java/React)

Location: Onsite in Ashburn, Virginia, United States; applicants must currently reside in the United States.

Salary: USD $95,553–$143,329 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and maintain mission-critical full-stack applications.
• Build responsive front-end interfaces with Angular, React, and TypeScript.
• Develop back-end services and REST or GraphQL APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and/or Python.
• Design microservices and event-driven architectures using Kafka and deploy applications in AWS GovCloud and/or C2S environments.
• Containerize and operate applications with Docker and Kubernetes while maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, cybersecurity, DevOps, product, and other technical stakeholders; provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of experience.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js and/or Python, REST or GraphQL APIs, microservices, and distributed messaging technologies such as Kafka.
• Experience with AWS, preferably AWS GovCloud and/or C2S, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automated testing, and software integration.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work independently across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required government clearance or background investigation; current U.S. residency is required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting federal government, DHS, CBP, or other mission-critical applications.
• Experience with high-volume, 24x7 production environments and cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with secure software development, DevSecOps, automated infrastructure, and deployment processes.
• Experience mentoring developers or providing technical guidance.
• Relevant AWS, Java, Kubernetes, or software development certifications.
