Neuroscience Specialist, Health and Science Professional - Newport News, VA

Location: Remote within the Newport News, Virginia territory; candidates must live within 25 miles of the territory border or within the territory boundaries. The role includes face-to-face customer engagement and requires permanent authorization to work in the United States.

Annual base salary: $76,000–$199,600, plus a quarterly sales incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Drive sales across the assigned Newport News territory.
• Engage healthcare providers and other customers in person and virtually.
• Develop and execute territory call plans and live or virtual customer engagement strategies.
• Build customer relationships and use digital tools to improve engagement effectiveness.
• Use reports, analytics, product knowledge, and disease-state information to identify and develop business opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, respond to customer inquiries, and complete administrative responsibilities compliantly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or an associate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in professional sales, promotional activity, entrepreneurship, marketing, customer service, account management, healthcare or scientific roles, education, or full-time military service.
• Must live within 25 miles of the territory border or reside within the Newport News territory.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record meeting company standards; a DUI, DWI, or other impaired-driving citation within the past 7 years is disqualifying.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required, and U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, or medical-related marketing experience.
• Sales or marketing success, territory management, communication, teamwork, leadership, and accountability experience.
• Knowledge of relevant disease states, therapeutic areas, products, territory customers, and markets.
