Project Manager, Partnerships & Projects (Geothermal Energy)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Manage project plans, schedules, milestones, action items, risks, and deliverables across partnership and government-funded projects.
• Support DOE, DOD, and other federally funded projects and grants, including requirements, reporting deadlines, budgets, cost share, invoices, and reimbursements.
• Coordinate workstreams across Exploration, Drilling, Development, Engineering, Permitting, Land, Finance, Legal, and external partners.
• Prepare technical and financial reports, project updates, presentations, and executive briefing materials.
• Facilitate meetings, document decisions and action items, and drive follow-through with government stakeholders, partners, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Identify schedule, budget, administrative, and execution risks while improving project management systems, trackers, documentation, and workflows.

Requirements

• Strong project management, organizational, execution, communication, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous or rapidly changing projects.
• Comfort working with technical teams, leadership, external partners, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Nice to have

• Experience with DOE, DOD, federal grants, cooperative agreements, contracts, or government-funded projects.
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, engineering, natural resources, construction, or other technical and capital-intensive environments.
• Familiarity with project budgeting, financial tracking, reporting, or project controls.
• Experience coordinating consultants, vendors, subcontractors, or external partners.
