Project Manager (Mining)

Location: Reno, Nevada / On-site; other location: Fallon, Nevada. Frequent visits to outdoor construction sites and remote mine sites are required, with up to 10% travel and flexible shifts in harsh weather environments.

What you will do

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans with clients, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Build and lead teams of electricians, technicians, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, personnel, procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor project execution, progress, budgets, timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Manage change orders and scope adjustments while documenting impacts on cost and schedule.
• Complete inspections, progress reporting, project closeout documentation, final reports, and invoices.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in heavy industrial construction, including 3–5 years managing field operations or mechanical scopes in active or greenfield mining, mineral processing, or heavy bulk materials handling.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Experience with project management tools including Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, and P6.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, change order requests, schedules, take-off meetings, and client communications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• NFPA 70E or OSHA certification and commitment to safety and quality standards.
