Data & Analytics Consultant (AI)

Location: On-site at U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters, Washington, DC; virtual or remote work only as approved by the Government. CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.

Annual salary: $88,100–$174,780.

What you will do

• Develop integrated dashboards that combine financial, schedule, and performance data from authoritative sources.
• Design data architectures, reportable metrics, searchable historical records, BI features, and visualizations using COTS platforms.
• Develop data, analytics, and AI strategies, roadmaps, prototypes, operational models, and decision aids.
• Lead performance measurement, program evaluation, business process reengineering, Lean Six Sigma analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop project charters, schedules, risk strategies, prioritization matrices, business cases, and portfolio management processes.
• Facilitate executive sessions, coordinate integrated project teams, develop communications and training materials, and support change management.

Requirements

• 5–15 years of experience in program or project management, facilitation, strategic communications, and organizational change management supporting the USCG or another federal agency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with data analytics, data architecture, business intelligence, performance measurement, requirements analysis, and IT architecture strategy.
• Experience with BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau, UAT, data integration, technical research, and data visualization.
• Ability to interpret government policies and regulations, communicate with executive-level personnel, and produce technical and strategic documentation.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency with at least three years of residence in the United States is required; ability to obtain or maintain a Federal Civilian Public Trust is required.

Nice to have

• PMP, DHS mid-level Project Management, Six Sigma Master Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with federal defense, homeland security, or law enforcement missions.
• Experience with Prosci ADKAR, Section 508 compliance, and Microsoft Office tools including Project and SharePoint.
