Entry Level Mechanical Designer (Revit)

What you will do

• Assist in designing and developing mechanical components, systems, and products using Revit.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analysis, including heat loads and airflow, to support design integrity and performance.
• Support troubleshooting and optimization of mechanical systems.
• Prepare and maintain design specifications, plans, reports, presentations, and project updates.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and design requirements.
• Support material, component, and equipment selection, quality assurance, and production processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Basic understanding of mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Raleigh, NC, United States.

Nice to have

• Internship or co-op experience in mechanical engineering.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes such as ASHRAE and IMC.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC design.
