Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst

Location: Fully remote within the United States, with EST hours. U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annually, based on experience.

What you will do

• Lead client workshops and focus groups to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements aligned with agency mission goals.
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Perform gap analysis between legacy processes and ServiceNow out-of-the-box functionality.
• Design and document Agile processes, SOPs, process maps, workflows, and data models with delivery teams and Agile leadership.
• Review requirements, functional designs, and test scripts for accuracy, completeness, feasibility, and quality.
• Develop UAT plans, coordinate testing with government personnel, and produce SOPs, user guides, and training materials.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, including at least 3 years with ServiceNow.
• Federal contracting experience with DoD, DHS, or civilian agencies.
• Agile/Scrum experience and strong backlog management skills using Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps.
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and at least one additional workflow, plus ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.

Nice to have

• ITIL v4 Foundation or higher.
• PMP, CSM, SAFe PO/PM, or another Agile certification.
