Solutions Engineer - Federal (UAV/AI)

Location: United States; remote

Salary: $150,000–$230,000 annually, plus stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery with federal customers, identify success metrics, and conduct proof-of-concepts and field trials.
• Prepare and deliver system demonstrations, including equipment setup, system operation, troubleshooting, and customer presentations.
• Lead system validation and customer implementations to support successful deployments.
• Provide subject matter expertise on federal contracting validation exercises to Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams.
• Support RFIs and RFPs through technical writing and contribute customer requirements to the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States and hold US citizenship due to government contract requirements.
• Active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including some international travel.
• FAA Part 107 certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Technical knowledge of DOW and federal UAV systems, sensors, analysis systems, and secure government-compliant data storage and analysis.
• At least 5 years of experience and a technical bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and technical sales experience.

Nice to have

• Military or federal UAS operator, maintainer, or instructor experience.
• Experience with contested or degraded environments, mission planning, CONOPS, TTP development, RF systems, datalinks, or mesh networking radios.
• Familiarity with counter-UAS, airspace deconfliction, sensor payloads, and tactical data-sharing tools such as TAK.
• Experience in defense, special operations, homeland security, maritime, diplomatic, international, or physical security environments.
• Professional working proficiency in a foreign language, especially Spanish.
