Delivery Manager

Location: Fully remote within the United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; certain roles may require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or security clearance.

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with Product Managers and engineering teams to plan, prioritize, and deliver high-quality software on schedule.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including standups, sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives, and sprint demos.
• Track delivery progress, surface risks, and keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
• Break product initiatives into actionable, well-scoped engineering work.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on roadmap, backlog, and release planning.
• Coordinate dependencies across the broader VA.gov ecosystem and communicate delivery value through clear reports and updates.

Requirements

• Experience managing software delivery in an Agile environment, ideally on federal programs.
• Strong facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with project and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• U.S. work authorization is required; some roles may require U.S. citizenship and federal background investigation or security clearance eligibility.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with VA.gov platform conventions or similar federal digital services.
• Experience working with ambiguity and creating structure without complete information.
