Project Manager - Finance

Location: East Syracuse, New York, United States; remote work practice indicated by the #LI-Remote posting tag.

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Track and manage a portfolio of productivity improvement projects from initiation through completion.
• Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze project data, savings estimates, actuals, and forecasts.
• Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reports covering project status, realized savings, and forecast variances.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages and presentations for finance leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Identify trends, risks, discrepancies, underperforming projects, and process improvement opportunities.
• Standardize productivity tracking methods and documentation across business units.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, project management, or a related analytical role.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data modeling.
• Experience using SAP and Oracle for data extraction and reporting.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and translate financial data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience tracking cost savings, productivity, or continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
