AWS Cloud Infrastructure Senior Engineer/Tech Lead (AWS)

Location: The Hague, Netherlands; hybrid work with office attendance every Wednesday and flexibility to work from home or the office.

Salary: €5,933–€7,910 per month, depending on knowledge and experience.

What you will do

• Lead the modernization and improvement of the AWS Cloud Foundation platform supporting more than 750 AWS accounts.
• Deliver secure, scalable, standardized, and automated cloud foundation capabilities, including access management, accounts, security, and networking.
• Monitor AWS releases and implement relevant features to improve the platform.
• Continuously improve automation to reduce operational work while maintaining platform stability and security.
• Run operations and provide standby support for the foundation every 5–8 weeks.
• Work with application teams, stakeholders, AWS enablement, and Azure foundation and enablement teams across an enterprise-scale hybrid cloud environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience implementing AWS cloud solutions.
• Experience with Platform as a Service, Python scripting, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CDK.
• Architectural and platform/solution design knowledge.
• Experience working with stakeholders at enterprise scale and in large multi-account environments.
• Recent AWS certifications.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks from start to finish, deliver results, and share gained knowledge.
• Fluent Dutch.
• Ability to make informed, decisive, and non-authoritative decisions; remain pragmatic, grounded, structured, calm, and mature under pressure.
• Ability to maintain an overview and keep the team focused.
