C&I Program Manager (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Primarily remote, with expected client site visits in Naperville, Illinois and throughout the Nicor service territory. Ideally based in Northern Illinois, Northwest Indiana, or Southern Wisconsin.

Salary: $90,000–$105,000 plus bonus. Additional compensation range: $90,900–$136,300.

What you will do

• Oversee client programs from inception through completion, ensuring smooth delivery and measurable results.
• Manage multiple contracts and annual budgets totaling $2M–$3M.
• Negotiate, execute, and oversee contracts while maintaining compliance and client satisfaction.
• Lead and develop program staff and coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, marketing, and software.
• Monitor performance, compile invoicing and reporting data, and maintain high customer-service standards.
• Identify and escalate program issues and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of program management experience, including at least 2 years of people management.
• Experience delivering excellent customer service and building strong client relationships.
• Ability to analyze historical data, develop strategic plans, and create contingency solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or immigration-support assistance.
• Must meet applicable DOT qualifications and comply with federal, state, and local transportation regulations if applicable.

• Program management experience in energy efficiency.
• Salesforce or other CRM experience.
