Senior Technical Program Manager (Energy)

Location: United States; fully remote

Base salary: $185,000–$225,000 per year, plus a target annual bonus of 20% of base salary and eligibility for long-term incentive programs.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-team programs across Engineering, Product, and Design.
• Build planning frameworks, milestone structures, and risk models for predictable program delivery.
• Identify dependencies, blockers, and tradeoffs, and drive resolution with clear recommendations.
• Partner with Engineering and Product leadership on roadmap sequencing, resource assumptions, and launch readiness.
• Manage launch readiness, post-launch metric validation, operational handoff, and downstream stakeholder enablement.
• Develop operational practices and retrospective learnings for the broader Technical Program Management team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Technical Program Management or Engineering Program Management experience, including at least 3 years managing programs across multiple engineering teams.
• Experience building or substantially improving program management systems and frameworks.
• Strong software and/or hardware technical foundation, including the ability to assess engineering estimates and architectural tradeoffs.
• Ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders without formal authority and communicate executive-level decisions clearly.
• Experience with consumer-facing software products.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in energy, grid services, IoT, or related infrastructure domains.
• Familiarity with virtual power plants, demand response, or utility partner integrations.
• Experience with external partners, device fleets, or regulated operational environments.
