Senior Designer, Tailored & Structured Wovens

Location: New York, NY, United States

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 base salary per year, plus benefits, a short-term incentive program, clothing allowance, and merchandise discounts.

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of tailoring and structured woven apparel, including outerwear, jackets, pants, and skirts.
• Own the process from initial concept through final production approval.
• Create sketches, technical flats, and tech packs to communicate design intent.
• Research trends, silhouettes, fabrics, patterns, and trims to support seasonal direction.
• Lead fittings from prototype through production, ensuring fit, construction, and design integrity.
• Collaborate with merchandising, technical design, and product development while mentoring the design team.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience designing woven apparel at a contemporary or luxury brand.
• Strong creative vision, design sensibility, and eye for color.
• Excellent hand and digital sketching skills.
• Deep technical knowledge of tailoring and structured wovens, including fit and construction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams.
