Assistant Designer - Women's

Location: Onsite in Beverly Hills, California, Monday–Friday during core business hours

What you will do

• Develop seasonal women’s apparel silhouettes under the direction of the Designer.
• Create and maintain detailed development tech packs in PLM.
• Assist with CAD projects, tech pack revisions, line sheets and presentation materials.
• Research current trends and compile findings to support creative direction.
• Work with color, fabrics and trims in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, including recoloring, editing, sizing and garment placement.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development and Production while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in women’s apparel design.
• Strong understanding of apparel construction, the design process, fabrics, color, trends and embellishment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PLM and Excel.
• Strong CAD sketching and CAD presentation skills.
• Organized approach with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• AA/AS degree or equivalent work experience; English required, with additional languages considered an advantage.
