Senior Business Analyst (Mortgage Insurance)

Location: Milwaukee, WI, United States; onsite role

Salary: $87,990.00–$149,590.00 per year

What you will do

• Analyze, document, validate, and translate business requirements into functional requirements, business rules, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams throughout enterprise initiatives and the project lifecycle.
• Support underwriting modernization, new operating models, business capabilities, and application implementation efforts.
• Contribute to Agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, story development, and release planning.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, including test scenarios, test cases, defect triage, and business sign-off.
• Support change management, implementation planning, production readiness assessments, and post-deployment support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Systems; additional relevant experience may substitute for education beyond an Associate Degree.
• Seven years of advanced experience in the area of specialization.
• Understanding of SDLC concepts and phases, project management principles, and the impact of IT on business processes.
• Experience working in Agile environments and supporting product-based delivery models.
• Ability to define tasks, manage multiple moderate- and high-complexity deliverables, and work with general direction.

Nice to have

• Experience with mortgage insurance, mortgage lending, underwriting operations, loan origination, or financial services technology initiatives.
