Senior Business Analyst (Guidewire)

Location: Farmington Hills, Michigan, United States; 3-day hybrid schedule supporting the Farmington Hills headquarters

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate requirements-gathering sessions for medium- to large-sized projects.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications covering workflows, business rules, interfaces, data analysis, and data mapping.
• Investigate operational opportunities and recommend solutions for business units.
• Document user stories, expected outcomes, and user interface specifications.
• Validate requirements against design and test documentation.
• Work directly with business clients and development teams to clarify needs and deliver solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive business analysis experience supporting medium- to large-sized projects.
• Experience with Guidewire, Microsoft TFS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong insurance industry knowledge covering policy, claims, and billing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Nice to have

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification.
