Business Analyst (Mortgage Technology)

Annual full-time base salary: $90,000–$110,000

What you will do

• Collect, analyze, and document business and user requirements for system enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional designs for development, testing, and implementation.
• Collaborate with technology teams and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, timelines, and priorities.
• Investigate system usage, overrides, exceptions, validation handling, errors, and performance issues.
• Track assigned projects, communicate progress and roadblocks, and support completion within required time frames.
• Assist with UAT, test progress reporting, demo preparation, day-to-day requests, and quality initiatives.

Requirements

• College degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience, typically at a Senior Analyst or equivalent level.
• More than 5 years of mortgage, technology, or secondary market experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, MS Office, Excel, web-based systems, and visual aids.
• Flexible schedule and limited travel required.

Nice to have

• Training in finance or mortgage banking.
• Experience as a QA or Technology Analyst at hirify.global.
