Senior Business Systems Analyst (Healthcare)

Location: Remote Flex in North Carolina and other states listed on the posting; virtual work with a few in-office visits each year. Hybrid-Flex roles require at least two office days per week, while the applicable arrangement depends on the role and distance from the Durham headquarters.

Salary: $89,174–$142,679 per year, plus annual incentive bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Analyze business processes, system functionality, claims operations, and operational data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical solutions with business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Use SQL, reporting tools, and claims processing systems to extract, validate, and analyze data.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and operational metrics for provider experience, claims operations, productivity, and system performance.
• Investigate production and system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate business testing, system enhancements, upgrades, implementations, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree where required.
• At least 5 years of experience in a related field, or 7+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience analyzing business requirements, processes, systems, and operational data.
• Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders, vendors, and operational teams.
• Ability to support data integrity, change management, regulatory requirements, and business compliance.
• Availability for the Remote Flex arrangement in the eligible United States locations, with occasional in-office visits.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Snowflake, Excel, or similar analytics and reporting tools.
• Experience in healthcare payer operations, claims processing, provider operations, benefits administration, or payment workflows.
• Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, and operational metrics.
• Experience supporting provider experience or claims servicing initiatives.
