Technical Business Analyst Senior (Health Plans)

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; full-time onsite at the CHRISTUS System Office. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. No travel required.

What you will do

• Lead project meetings with business users, management, end users, and Information Systems teams.
• Gather, clarify, and document business requirements, system needs, workflow details, and technical specifications.
• Design and implement workflow automation, system enhancements, and process improvements.
• Serve as the functional and technical liaison between business units, process managers, and software programming teams.
• Monitor implemented changes, support daily workflow operations, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Analyze business processes and recommend practical improvements, automation opportunities, and efficiency gains.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4–5 years of related experience or training in business analysis, technology development, or a related field.
• Experience documenting requirements and technical designs using tools such as Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Beginner to intermediate knowledge of database query tools such as AS/400 or SQL.
• Ability to analyze complex business issues, perform detailed data analysis, troubleshoot independently, and manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while handling confidential information and communicating effectively across organizational levels.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Six Sigma, TQM, or other process and project management systems.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Experience developing or presenting training for operational business users.
