Director, Head of Human Resources, Houston

Location: US - Houston, TX HR; onsite presence required at a 24/7 manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Serve as a strategic HR partner and trusted advisor to the Houston Site Head and Site Leadership Team.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term HR strategies aligned with site and business objectives.
• Lead organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Drive people-related aspects of business transformation, growth, and change management programs.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, employment law compliance, workforce risk, and organizational effectiveness.
• Use workforce data, analytics, and metrics to inform decisions and connect operational teams with senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including responsibility for a broad HR function within a senior leadership team.
• Experience in a CDMO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or advanced manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in employment law, compensation, organizational development, workforce planning, employee relations, talent management, safety, training, and labor relations.
• Demonstrated experience leading organizational change, business transformation, cultural transformation, and high-performing teams.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, integrity, and professional judgment skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
