Department Leader, Warehouse

Location: New Albany, Ohio, United States; onsite warehouse and manufacturing environment

Target base pay: $80,000–$133,000 annually; California and New York metro range: $88,000–$146,000 annually

What you will do

• Coordinate warehouse activities, assign work, manage shift handovers, and adjust priorities based on production needs.
• Lead, support, train, and coach warehouse employees on procedures, forklift operation, safety, and material handling.
• Manage cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and maintain inventory integrity and accuracy.
• Ensure accurate picking, staging, and timely delivery of production materials while maintaining required stock levels and LIFO procedures.
• Enforce safe equipment and material-handling practices, report incidents and unsafe conditions, and maintain Crown services data.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse areas using 5S methodology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4–6 years of related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience leading teams and 1–3 years of hands-on forklift experience.
• Ability to analyze productivity and inventory data and use Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, communication, training, and coaching skills.
