Lead Inventory Coordinator (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Procure supplies for surgical services and Central Processing departments.
• Stock supply locations from the loading dock through surgical services areas.
• Place orders in the ERP system and manage par levels for high-value inventory items.
• Coordinate with purchasing teams to ensure timely deliveries, manage backorders, and identify substitute items with clinical staff.
• Monitor the daily workflow of Inventory Coordinators and support the Operating Room Materials Manager.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and maintain communication with clinical teams and management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No minimum applicable work experience required.
• Inventory management skills and efficient use of computer programs, ERP, and inventory management systems.
• Ability to lead a small team, make independent decisions, adapt priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods and work in close quarters with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to handle heavy physical demands, including up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.

• Supply chain experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience leading small teams.
