Internship - Corporate Governance Executive Compensation Analyst EMEA (German Speaker) (m/w/d)

Location: Berlin, Germany. On-site work at the ISS STOXX office five days a week is required, and interns must be based in Germany from the first day of the internship.

Salary: €2,470 gross per month. The internship runs for 4.5 months, from 11 January 2027 to 31 May 2027.

What you will do

• Inspect publicly disclosed documents of listed companies and support experienced analysts.
• Analyze executive remuneration and pay practices across assigned European markets.
• Apply ISS STOXX methodology for pay-for-performance analysis and qualitative assessments.
• Deliver research and data supporting informed proxy voting decisions during proxy voting season.

Requirements

• Fluent English and German are required.
• Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or Law, or current enrollment in such a program.
• Interest in corporate governance, executive compensation, capital markets, research, and data collection.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to assimilate large quantities of information.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, collaborate effectively, and maintain an organized and structured approach.
• Must be based in Germany from the first day and work from the office five days per week.
