TL;DR
Applied AI Agent Engineer (AI/LLMs): Building and testing LLM-powered agent workflows, tool integrations, backend services, and evaluation systems with an accent on prompt strategies, retrieval flows, orchestration, and production reliability. Focus on benchmarking AI systems, analyzing failure cases, improving quality and latency, and turning ambiguous ideas into working prototypes.
Location: APAC; Australia; Hong Kong; Malaysia; New Zealand; Singapore; Taiwan. Remote-first, work-from-home arrangement may vary depending on the role and team.

What you will do
- Design and develop AI agent workflows and LLM-powered application components.
- Build and test prompt strategies, retrieval flows, tool-use logic, orchestration patterns, and backend integrations.
- Define evaluation metrics, run benchmarks, and analyze system failure cases.
- Improve AI system quality, latency, reliability, safety, and cost.
- Contribute to backend services, APIs, internal tools, and lightweight user interfaces.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and improve production AI systems.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Expected graduation in 2026 or 2027.
- Solid programming skills in Python or Java; backend engineering familiarity is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working with APIs, debugging, and data.
- Curiosity about LLMs, AI agents, automation, and real-world system design.
- Availability for a 6-month, full-time commitment, 5 days per week.
Nice to have
- Personal projects or coursework involving LLM applications, agent systems, automation, or AI-assisted development.
- Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, Hugging Face, LangChain, vector databases, or workflow tools.
- Experience with Git, databases, backend services, or cloud platforms.
