Senior Software Engineer (AI): Building and deploying scalable Python backend services, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines for global brands with an accent on cloud infrastructure, modern frontend collaboration, and GenAI-enabled development. Focus on resolving ambiguous requirements, designing system architecture and service contracts, applying AI and LLM capabilities, and improving testing, security, performance, and CI/CD.
Location: Hybrid role open in Buenos Aires or Mar del Plata, Argentina

What you will do
- Build and deploy scalable backend services and APIs for global brands.
- Turn incomplete or ambiguous specifications into clear requirements, tasks, estimates, and delivery plans.
- Design systems, database schemas, pipelines, service contracts, and integration architectures.
- Integrate third-party APIs and systems while collaborating with frontend and cross-functional teams.
- Review code and promote best practices in testing, security, performance, and CI/CD.
- Apply AI and agentic capabilities to client work, create reusable templates, and share technical knowledge internally and externally.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and maintaining production-level backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience designing and integrating APIs and third-party systems.
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database platforms.
- Familiarity with modern frontend development, preferably Angular, for code review and cross-stack debugging.
- Experience with Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure, plus Git, Agile processes, and CI/CD tooling.
- Daily use of GenAI productivity tools and a working understanding of core LLM concepts.
Nice to have
- Experience mentoring less experienced engineers.
- Exposure to agent development frameworks.
- Open-source contributions, technical writing, or conference speaking.
