Backend Engineer, Java (Web3 Wallet)

Location: Remote-first work arrangement; role location limited to China, Hong Kong, or Singapore

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems with strong reliability and sound architecture.
• Provide backend development support for the Web3 Wallet DEX project and its blockchain infrastructure.
• Contribute to technical architecture, solution design, and system stability within the engineering team.
• Evaluate and introduce innovative technologies and solutions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Java development experience and a solid computer science foundation.
• Strong knowledge of multithreaded programming, the JVM, distributed middleware, caching, message queues, and MySQL performance tuning.
• Experience with Spring Cloud and large-scale distributed, high-concurrency, high-load, and highly available systems is valuable.
• Understanding of blockchain technology; Web3 or blockchain project experience is preferred.
• High standards for code quality, logical thinking, problem-solving, ownership, communication, and collaboration.
