Java Engineer (IND26)

Location: Flexible hybrid working environment through hirify.global hubs in seven cities.

What you will do

• Design and deliver cloud-ready services and RESTful APIs.
• Own features end-to-end, including database schemas, service layers, tests, deployment, and monitoring.
• Contribute to system design and architecture discussions.
• Improve engineering quality through code reviews, pair programming, testing, and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions.

Requirements

• Professional Java development experience of 2+ years.
• Strong object-oriented design knowledge, including polymorphism, inheritance, and encapsulation.
• Experience with Spring Boot or Spring Framework for microservices and APIs.
• Experience with Angular or React, Node, and JPA or Hibernate.
• Solid SQL and JDBC experience, including schema design, queries, and updates.
• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or GraphQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Jira.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript for occasional full-stack work.
• Legacy experience with J2EE, JSP, or MVC frameworks.
