What you will do

• Manage and support big data platforms.
• Design and implement machine learning, data science, advanced analytical, and statistical algorithms.
• Develop prototype algorithms and refine existing algorithms.
• Perform programming, data mining, data modeling, and data assessment.
• Support data visualization, analytics, workflow reproducibility, and data management.
• Apply data science and software engineering expertise across one or more domain areas.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Onsite work in San Antonio, Texas, United States.
• Doctorate degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree and 8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience; an associate's degree with 12 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
• Degree in mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, applied statistics, machine learning, data science, operations research, or computer science.
• Related physical or hard-science degrees may be considered when they include advanced mathematics and/or computer science coursework.
