Associate Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Stamford, Connecticut, United States; hybrid work environment. U.S. work authorization is required.

Salary: $90,000–$118,000 USD annually, plus eligible bonus or incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Execute large-scale data modeling projects that improve operational efficiency and customer value.
• Manage the analytics lifecycle, including data wrangling, cleaning, feature engineering, model selection, validation, implementation, documentation, and maintenance.
• Provide ad hoc modeling and analytical insights for strategic and operational initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into actionable analytics projects and propose new analytical solutions.
• Communicate technical findings to business stakeholders and partner with IT, project management, and business teams.
• Apply machine learning, artificial intelligence, generative AI, natural language processing, and statistical modeling.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, or bachelor’s degree with at least two years of related experience, in engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, applied mathematics, data science, or a related field.
• Previous data modeling experience in a business environment and in-depth knowledge of statistical principles.
• Experience developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models, including techniques such as time series, random forests, clustering, neural networks, generalized linear models, optimization, design of experiments, and dimensionality reduction.
• In-depth NLP knowledge and experience with churn analysis, profiling, and recommendation systems.
• Expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, and MLOps; basic skills in Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong technical and business communication skills, stakeholder influence, and the ability to deliver against milestones in a fast-paced environment.
