Salesforce Engineer | IC2 (Salesforce)

What you will do

• Build and enhance dealer-facing features in the Salesforce B2B Dealer Portal, including ordering, order visibility, and account self-service.
• Support partner workflows covering onboarding, tier management, deal registration, and quoting.
• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, and standard platform features.
• Implement scoped Agentforce and AI-enabled capabilities for dealer and partner experiences.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, senior engineers, operations teams, and external partners to clarify requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Support data quality, integrations, system reliability, platform performance, documentation, code reviews, and change management.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Approximately two years of hands-on Salesforce development experience or equivalent experience delivering scoped Salesforce changes.
• Foundational knowledge of the Salesforce platform and standard data model, including Accounts, Contacts, Leads, and Opportunities.
• Working familiarity with Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components; Java or C# experience is also relevant.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, version control, debugging, unit testing, business processes, and technical troubleshooting.
• Must be able to work from the Glasgow office 3 days per week and be authorized to work in the United Kingdom now and in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce Flow, declarative automation, Agentforce, or Salesforce AI-enabled features.
• Knowledge of B2B commerce and partner workflows such as ordering, quoting, or onboarding.
• Experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, CPQ, REST APIs, external integrations, or Git.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Agentforce Specialist.
• Project, internship, or early-career experience contributing to Salesforce implementations or enhancements.
